Reflection
“$2 burgers in Harlem” is a video posted by munchies significant for many things. These $2 burgers grabbed my attention because they really show the community coming together. People tend to get greedy especially when they see there money going up but Robinson has not changed because of his materialistic items.
What also interested me is how Mo Robinson JR owns a barbershop and cadallic as well opposed to his food truck. His food truck allows for the black community to be able to eat at an affordable price. 1:11 in this video is a big symbol for Robinson’s motive behind his $2 burgers. He is located on Malcom X blvd. Throughout the video there is constant feedback that is given, ranging from “He makes the best burgers” which is a bold statement to “This drink is Harlem”. Overall we see the positive affect this Great man has on his community and fellow peers and the whole motive behind this video is we are stronger as a team. Robinson is not a greedy man opposed to the many people out there and he understands the struggle of the black community. This is why he isn’t scared to sell his burgers at a $2 price because it makes him feel happy in what he is doing. The smile on his face throughout the video shows how proud he is of his work. Another argument in this video is that everyone deserves to eat especially not a ridiculous price. Throughout this video you see new people cycling out every couple of minutes. His food truck is popular and full of quality. Like Robinson said Harlem is “a community of love” and to me that’s what it’s all about, the power of love. Robinson also says “people care about me” and this just shows how love goes both ways in Harlem. He is protected while he is serving his community and I think that is beautiful.
